After a whirlwind of classes, projects, articles and tests I am finally home for the summer. Goodbye constant fire sirens and traffic, and hello cows, chickens and birds chirping outside my window! Oh how I've missed this view:
But I must admit, it was a little difficult leaving my room-away-from-home.
There's a lot of memories wrapped up in that little room. Lots of laughter, tears, frustrations, stories...
I guess if there's one thing I learned this year, well besides how to write in inverted pyramid style and the basics of the macroeconomy, it's that memories can be made anywhere. No matter if I'm at home, where I can melt back into the simple rhythm of daily life, or at school where there is constantly something going on, there are opportunities to take and life to live. Memories are just waiting to be made.
